Information Technology (It) Manager - The Initiative

Responsibilities

• Manage, track and renew all software licenses, plug ins, and peripherals
• Maintain and troubleshoot all wi-fi and wireless connectivity infrastructure
• Support all conference and meeting room A/V, connectivity and voice needs, along with future hardware enhancements for these rooms
• Manage key deliverables including storage, backup strategies, data transfers and cloud/streaming initiatives
• Oversee and mitigate risks within our server room including all racking, cabling, patch panels, and the infrastructure that powers the room (climate control, power, and lights)
• Provide break-fix support for PC and MAC users across a variety of IT infrastructure and technologies
• Manage a team of IT admin and infrastructure vendors
• New hire hardware and software setups including all profiles, appropriate network access, and user aliases
• Drive all inventory tracking and asset tracking documentation for existing and future IT hardware, software, and license assets
• Source, procure and purchase all hardware, software and peripheral needs for studio staffing and general studio infrastructure requirements
• Work in partnership with XGS IT to manage the local area network including network security, fiber connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and administration requirements

• Oversee IT integration of multiple remote team members, co-development partners, and outsourced vendors
• Spearhead IT strategic planning discussions related to future investments in studio infrastructure, technology, and assets for our users
• Work with internal studio stakeholders and key co development partners to design, influence and integrate technical solutions to support and enable effective game development
• Collaborate with studio IT counterparts across studios to identify best practices and lessons learned to drive operational efficiencies and future growth planning
• Identify business challenges and propose proactive technical solutions to resolve them

Qualifications

• OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience in information technology (IT) operations, technical support, customer service solutions/delivery, or service management
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Azure working with Cloud technologies.
• 3+ years experience in advanced enterprise administration, specifically with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and/or enterprise storage.
• 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing complex infrastructure solutions that support distributed software development while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology (IT), Computer Science, or related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering) AND 6+ years experience in IT operations, technical support, customer service solutions/delivery, or service management
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in configuring and troubleshooting a hybrid enterprise network, including Global Traffic Management (GTM), routing protocols, and wireless technologies.
• 1+ year(s) project leadership/management experience, preferably in a remote environment.
