Core Responsibilities
- Procure IT equipment and professional services, manage IT vendors, contracts, and service level agreements, and oversee the managed service providers
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
- "Develop department policies, process, and procedures documentation and provide internally
- Develop, manage, and implement the IT infrastructure operations strategy, monitor and report operational risks/performance against established KPIs/metrics, and establish a tenable path to increase process maturity
- Maintain architecture and security standards across critical infrastructure; align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and operational excellence goals
- Review contracts, bids, and service level agreements (SLAs), and work with Supply Chain on RFPs
- Support and respond to internal audits, reviews, and assessments and as applicable, develop sustainable corrective action plans
- Evaluate and assess new and emerging technologies to drive process automation, establish leading practices, and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency
- Present to senior executives, collaborate with peers, and provide oversight on operational activities
- Must be available to work off-hours as required to support deployments, resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies
- Provide thought leadership on a wide range of technology initiatives to support the company's business priorities
- Continuously increase capabilities and team results through professional education, networking, and participation in professional industry groups
- Oversee, develop, and manage the IT Infrastructure and Operations Department which is comprised of voice and data communications, fiber optic networks, data center engineering, data center operations, end-user services, service desk, network operations center (NOC) to ensure the availability, resiliency, and security of the IT infrastructure
- Training to the department and impacted end users"
- Manage medium to large projects resources, scope, budget, schedule, and project plans, and ensure costs are within budget
Relevant Work Experience
- Strong technical and operational knowledge in the following areas: voice and data communications, fiber optic networks, data center engineering, data center operations, end user services, service desk, network operations center (NOC) Required
- Understands, assesses, and mitigates business risks through monitoring, automation, backup, replication, business continuity and disaster recovery plans Required
- Proven record developing and implementing operational strategy to drive IT infrastructure high availability and resiliency Required
- Practical application of cybersecurity principles for secure IT infrastructure operations Required
- Demonstrated strategic and forward-thinking results achieved implementing new technologies, automated processes, lowered technology costs, and/or improved quality of services to customers Required
- Experience leading multiple IT operations teams, delivering operational efficiency, and improving process maturity Required
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (10) years of IT experience or
- Master's Degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (8) years of IT experience

- Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
- Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to use hands for an entire shift
- Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for an entire shift
- Must stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
- Must be able to read small print and symbols.
- Must push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
Other Physical Demands
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, gloves, and safety shoes when required
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
