Information Security Analyst Jobs

Provide technology planning and support to agency within VITA/SAIC IT Partnership, supports the strategic and operational needs of the Virginia Department of Corrections through the development of cost-efficient solutions that encourage innovation, the improvement of information quality and availability, the creation and enforcement of sound security policies, and the raised awareness of critical technology issues while providing high quality customer service.
• Monitor and manage all Security related issue through / Service Now
Oversee over 10,000 critical requests in a giving year.
• Understanding of the components within LAN/WAN networks to include network connectivity and remote access technology.
• Manage all escalation with a team people with is critical to Department 24x7 operation time. • Manage user account through Active Directory
• Deliver quality Application Security and support through security administration of application, effective and efficient problem identification and resolution, production service, and systems administration support tasks to ensure computer applications assist DOC is achieving its day-to-day mission.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance regarding information security matters, audits, guidelines, standards, policies and procedures.
• Support and develop the Department's overall Continuity Of Operations Plan (COOP), and assist in ensuring IT Disaster Recovery (DR), COOP plans, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Security Awareness Training (SAT) activities are regularly reviewed, revised, and tested.
• Provide technical guidance to internal units and external agencies, departments and vendors; and maintain constituent relationships required to ensure sound IT security.
• Manage and monitor the total storage space on all servers on the network
•Provide support for all security investigations and forensic analysis.
• Support and provides complete control over Web traffic, enabling the ultimate foundation for a Secure Web Gateway with its content controls and policy flexibility, for the Department of Correction network.
