Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field
• Less than 2 years of IT Security experience, candidates must be in an Analyst role NOT already in an engineering role.
• Experience in administering and maintaining applications or tools.
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.

Preferred

· Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker)

Responsibilities

• Manage user access and permissions to the Sustain Planner application.
• Assist the team in creating and managing Jira tickets for cybersecurity projects and tasks.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and share insights to improve processes and operations.
• Work closely with senior analysts and cybersecurity professionals to gain knowledge and experience in the field.
• Actively engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the development team to address any technical issues or enhancements.
• Monitor the status of tickets and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Monitor and maintain application functionality and performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of ticket details, including descriptions, priorities, and assigned resources.
• Support Jira Ticket Management
