To continue our growth, we have an excellent opportunity for an IMAGING CLERK at our Los Angeles, CA location.
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for accuratel y preparing and scanning a high volume of data to convert printed material into digital images within a reasonable proximit y to depar t ment hourl y average.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Functions

• Complete all other tasks assigned b y supervisor or Director of Operations.
• Set scanner parameters as identified for each job to ensure accurate handling per customer specifications .
• Responsible for preparing and scanning paper documents according to customer specifications and direction .
• Responsible for dail y maintenance/cleaning of scanner to ensure image qualit y .
• Responsible for logging doc u ment/box numbers assigned during scanning for future retrieval.
• Utilize the automatic feeder and flatbed scanner to scan a variet y of paper sizes.
• Accept changes to those specifications and directions understanding customer needs ma y change.
• Assist other team m e mbers with document preparation and indexing.

• Detailed knowledge of the digital scanning process including an understanding of ho w digital scanners w ork .

Work Environment: Must be able to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
Ph y sical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the emplo y ee is regularl y required to stand and walk . The emplo y ee is occasionall y required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach , handle, carr y , and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the emplo y ee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identif y numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.
Education And Eligibilit y Requirements

• Must have skill and proficienc y using a computer workstation and scanner s y stems.
• Abilit y to trouble-shoot computer problems as the y relate to electronic document conversion.
• Must be able and w illing to c o mmunicate effectivel y in English
• Must be able and w illing to work overtime hours as needed.
