Tryfacta is seeking Imaging Assistant for our clients in San Francisco, CA, 94110. This role is a 13 week contract assignment.
Pay Rate: $35.36/hr - $40/hr
Work Schedule: PM shift 3:30pm-12am Sunday to Thursday with Friday and Saturday off
Job Duties
Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with processing accounts payable, reconciliation, and other office management duties.
• Orients students and new staff to safe lifting, body ergonomics, and transport techniques.
• Arranges for and transport patients designated for radiographic exams; pick up transport slips; notify charge tech or receptionist of the patient's arrival or departure; monitor patients and educate them about procedures to be performed.
• Uses Picture Archiving Communication (PACS) to manage digital images including transferring information to and from electronic media and printing computerized documents as directed.
• Assists with diagnostic imaging procedures and image processing using digital equipment.
• Assists department staff in performing various Diagnostic Imaging procedures.
• Uses a variety of information systems to schedule appointments and register patients for various imaging modalities such as general radiography, sonograms, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, fluoroscopy, mammography, interventional radiography procedures, etc.
• Records information about the procedure event in various computerized systems and logs.
• Cleans equipment and facilities e.g. preparing the room for the next patient.
• Answers phones using a multiline telephone to answer callers, respond to their inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate areas or individuals.
• Attaches and removes equipment parts related to imaging.
• Assists in placing patients on tables and helps in positioning patients.
• Stock units with linen, monitor stock levels, and disposes of dirty laundry bags.
• Picks up and delivers supplies, laboratory tests, and equipment in and around the hospital.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)
License & Certification:

• Other: COVID-19 Vaccine with booster
• Minimum One (1) year of verifiable work experience involving public contact which includes six (6) months in a medical facility.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate issued by the American Heart Association is required.
