Job Description
Salary Range: $15.50 - $21.11


Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.


Position Summary


  • Transports resident safely and respectfully, preserving their dignity.
  • The ability to have a valid California driver’s license and be insurable by LVMC’s insurance carrier.
  • Other duties as requested by Director of Nursing
  • Ability to demonstrate competency in the use of lift and restraint system in both CCC company vans.
  • May transport specimens, documents, medications to other facilities using the van.
  • Aids the CNA II with resident transport.
  • Must work well under stress or tight deadlines.
  • Provide transportation for residents from other facilities in a safe manner.
  • Work is assigned two days a week with varying hours between 0700-1630, for a total of 6 hours a day.
  • Must work well with co-workers, residents, family members and visitors.
  • Works closely with Supervisors and Ward Clerks to coordinate timing of resident transport.

Essential Functions


  • The ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, residents, and visitors.

  • The ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English. .


Position Qualifications


  • Skills/Ability: Ability to communicate effectively with staff and physicians.
  • Experience: Possess a valid California Driver’s License, able to be insurable with LVMC’s insurance carrier
  • Education: High school graduate, or equivalent preferred.
  • LVMC reserves the right to modify the minimum requirements depending on the needs of the organization.
