Job Description
  • Assist with maintaining all HR-related forms and HR boards
  • Maintain employee personnel development database (training tracking)
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist with maintaining Milwaukee County Add and Delete spreadsheet
  • Assist with preparation of employment contracts
  • Assist with Annual ACA Reporting
  • Assist with the issuance of Work Permits.
  • Assist with coordination of employee hiring and termination
  • Assist with coordination of annual evaluation process
  • Assist with annual audit preparations
  • Inventory for Office and Building Maintenance Supplies as needed.
  • Ensure organization's compliance with laws and advise staff when necessary
  • Assist with the completion of, submit in a timely fashion, and maintain WC forms and files
  • Assist with Workers Compensation, Family Medical Leave Act, Garnishments, and Unemployment
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and emails.
  • Assist with background approval for volunteers
  • Make sure all HR practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and statues and funding sources.
  • Establish and maintain a constant and timely flow of information to all staff
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Director of Business Operations
  • Establish and maintain communication with HR vendors (benefits, insurance, etc.)
  • Assist IT with simple IT activities (prepping laptops for assignment, setting up and breaking down desktops, etc.
  • Assist with coordination of compliance procedures for employee car insurance and driver licensing
  • Assist with updating and HR policies and procedures manual
  • Complete and submit in a timely fashion unemployment requests and inquiries
  • Assist with annual OSHA and EEOC Reporting
  • Creating and Maintaining recruitment opportunities.
  • Administrative support to the accounting office (maintain various binders, vehicle, etc.)
  • Maintain HR Database and Report on employee Paid Time Off
  • Assist IT in maintaining inventory of IT equipment and assist with the implementation and distribution of equipment.
  • Assist with Semimonthly Payroll
  • Review and prepare Supply Orders twice per week.
  • Maintenance and organization of employee files, employee database, and employee handbook: ensuring that all employees have the required documentation and information for employment at all times
