Human Resources Specialist - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a talented Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. As part of our tight-knit construction team, you will have the opportunity to support all facets of HR, project management, and office administration, while working closely with our region's Vice President and General Manager, as well as Project Managers and the Field Resource Manager.
Your responsibilities will include recruiting top talent, conducting orientations for new hires, managing office supplies and equipment, processing payroll and timekeeping records, and providing employee relations and engagement support. You will also have the opportunity to support project management efforts by setting up new projects in our project management system, and tracking and monitoring employee certifications and driving records.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, collaborative, and has a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Human Resources department. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field is required, and notary certification is highly desirable.
At our company, we are committed to evolving and re-engineering our work processes to electronic workflows in the iSolved HR Information System. As such, this role will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the launch of our new HRIS system and training new users when ready.
