Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Executive to join our team. As an HR Operations Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including employment laws, payroll, compensation and benefits, onboarding and exits, employee retention, performance management, and grievances. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of relevant experience in HR operations and possess a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Employment Laws: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Payroll: Manage and oversee payroll processes, including accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, and resolving any payroll-related issues.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits packages. Conduct periodic market research to ensure competitiveness.
  • Onboarding and Exits: Responsible for the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, facilitating completion of paperwork, and ensuring a smooth integration into the organization. Manage the exit process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating necessary documentation.
  • Employee Retention: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Analyze trends and recommend initiatives to improve overall employee experience.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and facilitate training programs.
  • Grievances: Handle employee grievances and complaints, conducting thorough investigations, and providing appropriate resolutions. Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • HR Systems and Data: Oversee HR systems and data management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee records. Collaborate with Corporate systems team as required.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Generate HR reports and metrics to provide insights on HR operations, such as turnover rates, headcount, and HR KPIs. Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Administrative Activities: Manage the shipment of laptops and other equipment for new hires or as required. Handle system access requests and ensure timely provisioning and termination of access. Collaborate with Business Operations, IT and Finance teams to ensure employees have everything that they require for work.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on employment laws, payroll, compensation and benefits, onboarding and exits, employee retention, performance management, and grievances.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP ) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
