Job Description

Very reputable and growing manufacturing / distribution company located in Kaufman County is looking for an HR Generalist for an immediate need!



  • 100% paid employee only benefits
  • 401k kicks in after 3 months with an automatic 3% contribution from company
  • Ability to work remote when needed.
  • Position pays $65,000 - $70,000 plus quarterly bonus.
  • Must have experience in Payroll


Bachelors degree is a MUST


  • Responsibilities - The position is responsible for "hands on" administration of HR
  • People-focused, a team-builder, and a creative force.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with the Administrator, facility management team, and all levels of staff.
  • Administration of facility Payroll and time keeping functions, including biweekly HR and Payroll processing.
  • Strong Generalist experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years
  • Employee relations, including corrective action, investigation, & documentation.
  • Retention, orientation, worker's compensation, unemployment benefits administration, legal compliance & other administrative tasks.
  • Goal-oriented, determined, and able to demonstrate continuous improvement in this Human Resources leadership position.
  • PAYROLL, Benefits, on-boarding, employee issue and controls
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for state required survey items as they apply to all employees.
  • Familiarity with the overall responsibilities in the HR department including on boarding, payroll, benefit administration, etc.
  • Forward-thinking, open-minded, with a desire to impact change.


Responsibilities

  • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
  • Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent


Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
  • 3+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred
