What You Will Be Doing

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be involved in all aspects of Human Resources, but primarily focused on recruiting and employment. You will administer the City's hiring process from posting jobs, screening applicants, assisting with interviews and new employee onboarding. Processing new employee paperwork, separations, benefit enrollment and employment verifications are a just a few of the other duties you will be responsible for.

What You Bring To Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public administration or related field is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, supplemented by two (2) years of previous experience and/or training involving employment.
  • You own the experience and make each moment memorable.
  • You are energetic and a people person!
  • Any work-related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above minimum qualifications is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.
  • You maintain a high level of discretion, independent judgment, and initiative.
  • You anticipate employee needs and relentlessly pursue solutions.
