Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Responsibilities

• Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

• Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.

• Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates and performing pre-employment screenings.

• Responsible for On Boarding and Orientation for all New Hires and Temp Staff.

• Designated manager to protect confidentiality of classified and/or personal information.

• Primary liaison with temporary employee agency to ensure adequate staffing levels

• Assist with performance management procedures.

• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.

• Coordinate training sessions and prepare training materials.

• Organize timesheets for each department.

• Process weekly, and Bi-Weekly payrolls

• Maintain accurate filing system for HR documents.

• Oversee the postings of HR documents and announcements.

• Assist with employee forums and meetings.

• Participates in health and safety hazard identification and control activities.

• Provide general support to visitors.

• Deals with and handles confidential situations and matters daily.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area is preferred.
