Responsibilities
Empowerment and Support: Be the go-to person for managers, providing proactive support throughout the entire employment journey. Engage with managers to discuss developmental needs and address any people-related issues promptly and effectively.
Guidance and Investigation: Investigate and provide guidance on employee and manager issues, ensuring a fair and positive work atmosphere.
Champion of Growth: Take the lead in our review process, from compliance to succession planning, ensuring that our teams grow and prosper.
Collaborative Partnerships: Collaborate with talent acquisition to ensure our business's needs are met, ensuring we bring in the best talent to join our thriving community.
Compliance and Policies: Ensure we are always on top of legislative compliance in all aspects of human resource management, including health and safety, privacy laws, and employment regulations. You'll also play a key role in updating policies and procedures to maintain our commitment to compliance.
Market Research and Benefits: Work closely with executive leadership and finance to select top-notch benefits for our employees. Stay informed on market rates for salaries and benefits to aid in our decision-making process.
Qualifications
Passionate HR Professional: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong desire to make a positive impact in people's lives.
Certified and Knowledgeable: PHR or SPHR qualification or working towards it, showcasing your dedication to HR excellence.
Educational Background: A university degree in a related subject is preferable, highlighting your commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office, making you a wizard at organizing and presenting data.
Fast-Paced Experience: Previous experience within a fast-moving and growing business is preferred, demonstrating your adaptability and resilience.
Healthcare Industry Insight: Familiarity with the healthcare industry is a plus, allowing you to understand our unique context better.
Customer-Centric: Stellar customer service skills, always putting the needs of employees and managers first.
Self-Driven and Detail-Oriented: A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, paying meticulous attention to detail.
Business Acumen: Possess a good commercial understanding to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
Team Player: An excellent team player with a strong focus on customer service, thriving in a collaborative environment.
Master Multitasker: Comfortable handling a high-volume workload within a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently.
