Step 2) Those selected from Step 1 will be invited for a 15 minute introductory virtual introductory meeting.

Step 3) Those selected from Step 2 will be invited to a 45-60 minute virtual interview.

As Human Resources Generalist, you’ll be joining our Austin-HQ team, to bring talented individuals to EightPM and ensure the values of our people-first culture are ingrained as we grow our fantastic team!

Responsibilities:

  • Support all departments with assigned tasks, as needed
  • Full cycle recruiting––sourcing, interviewing, assessment, negotiation, etc.
  • Organize company events & meetings
  • Actively be involved in overall team health & culture
  • Assist C-level executives with assigned duties, as needed
  • Other HR & administrative duties & tasks as assigned. We all wear many hats :)
  • Assist in compensation planning, policy development & compliance, & terminations
  • Accurate data entry & reporting by utilizing a number of HR systems
  • Establish & maintain harmonious relationships with employees
  • Monitor & measure existing programs, proactively looking for improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate new hire pre-onboarding & onboarding efficiently & quickly
  • Collaborate with department leads for new employee training


About You:

  • Media, advertising, or marketing agency recruiting experience a plus
  • Problem-solver who is driven by challenge
  • Thrive in both team & independent working environments
  • Tech savvy with personal or professional experience in the following platforms:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, managing employee relations & onboarding/offboarding
  • Strong full cycle recruitment skill set
  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills––verbal, written, & visual
  • Above average time management & multitasking skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with above average organizational skills

-Salesforce, HubSpot, or any CRM

-DocuSign, HelloSign, or any e-signature platform

-Slack or any internal communication platform

-Zoom, Google Meet, or any video-communication platform

-Canva, Powerpoint, or any presentation platform

-Instagram, TikTok, or any social media platform

  • Eat, breathe, & sleep pop culture, with a passion for television & film entertainment
  • Genuine interest in people––their experiences, goals, stories, & motivations
