Asus is looking for a HR-generalist

About the job

HR in Asus is a function that is close to the business, through our people knowledge, we support the business. This newly acquired branch will further strengthen Asus as one the most prominent companies within the PC market.

About the team

The HR team consist of six HR throughout the United States, this role would support 30-60 employees and report to our HR-manager in HQ, Taiwan.

Work tasks

• Assists in the continuous improvement of efficiencies of HR related processes and policies
• Leads the implementation of HR initiatives and projects assigned by HQ at local level.
• Facilitate communication from all perspectives.
• Support system implementations, as needed, through testing, tracking issues, rollout and communications
• Develop and manage relationships with the business, manager, HQ in Taiwan, various stakeholders and other HR in the USA.
• Assist in the logistics and administrative support of HR programs, policies, and projects
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant federal and state local regulation.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Provide HR guidance, advice and best practice within areas such as Recruitment, Comp & Ben, HR operation and L&D.
• Process large reorganizations, assignment changes, off boarding requests, and domestic/international transfers
• Analyze data from various sources to create good base for business decision and communicate that data efficiently.

Qualifications and background

• Good organizational skills
• Proven good communication skills and ability to convey HR’s value to the business.
• Previous HR experience withing the United States, minimum of 5 years in a generalist role
• Bachelor degree or certificate within HR
• As you will be our only HR for these locations, self-driven, motivated and high responsibility is crucial.
• Good knowledge of employment law
• Good oral and written communication
• Good Excel skills
• If you have previous experience within payroll admin, it is a plus
• Detail focus, we think the devil is in the detail and always aim for high quality work.

Employment

Permanent employment with probation period, Asus allows for hybrid work, 2 days WFH/week.

Where will you work

You may work on either of our two locations, Chandler in Arizona or Hillsboro in Oregon.
