Community Impact’s team of approximately 220 employees (“Impacters”) work tirelessly to deliver high-quality local news throughout Texas. For every question or concern our Impacters may have, our Human Resources team is ready to assist. Our HR Generalist works behind-the-scenes to develop training, administer our benefits plans, recruit top talent and ensure our staff have the resources they need to be successful. By supporting our team members, our HR Generalist helps to keep Impacters satisfied and Texans informed.

About You

You’ll know that you’re a great fit for our HR Generalist role if you:

• Are well-versed in a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration and employee relations
• Excel at multitasking, prioritizing and managing both short-term and long-term projects
• Know how to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Bring at least 2 years of professional-level HR experience to the table
• Have experience using HRIS (with Paylocity experience being a plus)
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all applicable employment laws

NOTE: This role will sit out of either Dallas-Fort Worth or Houston, depending on the candidate's preference.
