Job Summary

This position provides professional support services for human resources operations.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain human resource systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and other employee information in PeopleSoft.
  • Assists with administrative tasks such as paying invoices and completing purchasing forms.
  • Maintains benefit packet information and communicates availability to employees. Provides benefit information to assist employees in making informed decisions,and acts as benefit liaison between employee and KCTCS. Assist with employee orientations and presentations related to employment and benefits.
  • Coordinate and assist in employee engagement initiatives, including surveys.
  • Works with the Dean of Administrative Services on an annual basis in the preparation of the college's personnel budget, enters encumbrances, and assists in contract preparation.
  • Provide current and prospective employees guidance regarding policies and procedures, job specifications, salary information, background checks, and general employment overview.
  • Coordinate search process including scheduling search committee meetings, interviews, general correspondence, applicant tracking software, onboarding, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain electronic personnel files for all employees, including scanning and indexing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, human services, communications, etc.)
  • Two years of relevant experience
