Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are seeking a Human Resources Assistant for their Corporate office in Abingdon, Maryland. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will use your expertise to:

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will use your expertise to:
- Utilize various websites / programs for HR functions; Accounting, Payroll, Benefits and Recruiting
- Obtain, verify, and enter professional licenses, certifications, education, etc. in HR system
- Maintain active employee personnel files
- Update HR sections on company intranet under direction of Human Resources Manager
- Assist in creating training / informational documents
- Electronic file maintenance of separated personnel records
- Track and process Employee Referral Bonuses
- Assist Human Resources Manager in scheduling and preparation of educational meetings
- Update and maintain Employee Performance Review tracking
- Maintain various employment documents
- Post and maintain job postings on College and Professional Society Job Boards, verify active posting status with recruiting staff
- Career Fairs – registration, maintain schedule for use of supplies, coordinate delivery and return of supplies from other offices, replenish printed materials as needed, advise recruiting staff on branded product supply levels.
- Excellent time management skills; accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
- Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook; Basic Adobe
- Ability to quickly learn computer applications
- A bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on HR
- Motivated and collaborative personality
- Keen understanding of the nature of confidentiality in Human Resources
- HR experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
