Job Description
THE POSITION


The Public Safety HR Delivery Center (PSHRDC) is looking for a highly motivated candidate to fulfill our vacant Human Resource Analyst 1 position. This position is responsible for providing professional analytical and advisory support to the PSHRDC's absence, attendance, payroll, and separations programs for the agencies we serve.


DESCRIPTION OF WORK


This position is responsible for absence and attendance administration and serves as a time advisor by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of absence, attendance, and payroll information in the SAP system for agencies served by the PSHRDC.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. This position will be required to report to 1800 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg PA 17110 periodically. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY


QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
