Immediate opening for a HR Generalist in Orange, CA, who possesses:
  • Experience with a high-volume company (1,000+ employees preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or Psychology
  • 3-5 years' experience in HR (Full-Cycle preferred)

FULL DESCRIPTION: Provides human resources support to applicants, employees and management in the areas of employment and compliance. Initial support will be directed at supporting COVID-19 tracking and reporting in addition to full support of the employee life cycle from recruiting to investigation and separations. You'll have a high focus on customer service, attention to detail is a must since accurate, timely reporting of facts is critical. You'll need to be able to walk in the door already familiar with the regulatory environment related to COVID-19 compliance and reporting requirements. After getting up to speed the position will support all HR related matters for the full employee life cycle.
The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Administering compensation and benefit plan
  • Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
  • Provides support and guidance to HR team when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; will be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Coordinate employee development plans and annual employee performance reviews
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Maintains digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
The Selected Candidate Will Also Possess
  • Excellent Problem Solver
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • COE (Center of Excellence) Call-center experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Superior Interpersonal Skills and Conflict Resolution
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
  • Excellent Communicator
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • SHRM Certification: CP, or SCP, or HRCI Certification: PHR or SPHR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint experience preferred, and familiarity with Pivot Tables, VLookup, Conditional Formatting a plus
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now (HRIS) experience highly desired
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Salary Range: $70k-$80k/yr
