Job Description
Job Summary
Our client, an award-winning industry leader in print services, requires a Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist will assist the HR Manager with daily Human Resources functions including hiring and interviewing staff, benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Handle confidential information relating to personnel records.
  • Maintain personnel files and employee records.
  • Analyzes reports and trends.
  • Maintains recruiting programs.
  • Maintains contact through verbal and written communications and visits to local Votech, colleges, and trade schools.
  • Screens and interviews candidates.
  • Ensure labor law and regulatory compliance.
  • Job postings.
  • Works closely with HR Manager on day-to-day HR operations and projects.
  • Career development programs.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Develops recruitment plans.
  • Provide internal support and partnership to stakeholders.
  • Assist with employee/labor relations.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Assist with leave and attendance.
  • Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
  • Perform routine personnel actions in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet human resource needs of the Company.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience may be substituted for educational requirements at a rate of one year for each degree program year missing.
  • 1 3-year human resources experience.
