Job Description

The HR Generalist will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. Demonstrates a proven commitment to provide a diverse talent pool, and a positive experience for the hiring manager and candidate. The Ideal candidate is passionate about people and has exceptional organizational skills and follow-up.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with hiring managers within our organization to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions for open positions
  • Manage resumes and inquiries in the internal recruiting folder
  • Ensure a great candidate experience while coordinating phone screens and interviews
  • Use hiring metrics to develop new and more efficient hiring solutions
  • Support any other special projects as needed
  • Manage organizational chart on a weekly basis
  • Overseeing all recruiting platforms and vendors (LinkedIn, Indeed, JobAdder, CheckHR, etc)
  • Support administrative and operational requirements for compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Full-cycle recruitment; including pre-screening, interviewing, reference checks, booking interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain Recruitment Tracking System, including posting all positions, and directing resumes through the application process
  • Recruit across multiple departments to creatively source, evaluate, network, and hire top-tier talent
  • Manage employee files, ensuring any necessary documentation needed for compliance is filed and accessible
  • Conducting onboarding activities including offer letter, equipment setup, new employee orientation, coordination of new hire paperwork, and overseeing access to company platforms and resources


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism while interfacing with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for the team
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Suite
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in full-time recruiting, experience in a complex and fast paced environment supporting teams of 100+ employees
  • Basic working knowledge of federal and state (primarily California) employment laws and regulations (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA) and the ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and responsibilities while multi-tasking
  • Exceptional attention to detail and impressive organizational skills
  • Discreet, able to handle confidential information carefully, appropriately, and professionally
  • Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills


Compensation - $38.00- $43.00 Hr.
