This role focuses on employee relations, change management, performance management, investigations and legal compliance for broader employee relations support for HRBPs for a population of 3,000 employees.

This role focuses on employee relations, change management, performance management, investigations and legal compliance for broader employee relations support for HRBPs for a population of 3,000 employees.
What You Will Do
This role provides Employee Relations/Talent and Recruiting support to leaders and employees including administering/interpreting policies, researching and/or investigating employee concerns and making recommendations that effectively promote positive employee relations.
- Develop and edit communications, including designing and formatting unique messages, for various stakeholders throughout the business.
- Lead effective solutions for addressing workplace concerns in accordance with and ensuring consistent interpretation of policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Monitor case activity ensuring follow through to resolution.
- Maintains appropriate documentation and records for Employee Relations cases.
- Assist with Peet’s intranet to ensure that content is consistent, relevant and engaging across multiple channels/departments.
- Delivers service in a professional and efficient manner providing prompt assistance while managing expectations to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Learn steps in recruiting and hiring process and collaborate with recruiting team to think about how we can better target, engage, and hire diverse candidates.
- Assist the DEIB team through research and associated projects connected to retail.
- Retail support for DEIB company activities ensuring we enforce an inclusive work environment.
- Assist with coordination of communications, initiatives, and projects with the Manager of DEIB and Peetnik Resource Groups.
- Process HR related Invoices thru D365.
- Coordinates new hire gift process
- Drive continuous improvement in all HR processes.
- Supports with build out of automating employee handbook and policy updates
- Leads analysis and key learning cascade of exit and new hire survey information
- Manage analysis and present quarterly turnover information.
- Post openings to appropriate internal and external sources, including the Peet’s Career pages, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job sites
- Coordinates Department meetings & offsite events as needed.
- Source and recruit for junior to mid-level positions across the retail organization
- Assist the team in managing key recruiting metrics, weekly status updates, reporting requirements, and dashboards and manage projects focused on increasing productivity and process improvements for the team
- Coordinate administrative aspects of recruiting workflow management from requisition management, system maintenance, data integrity, candidate sourcing
- Responding to employee needs swiftly, while providing accurate information, support, and guidance.
- Back-up to HRIS Analyst when needed.
- Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow-through
- Creative problem solver who is resourceful and dedicated to seeing projects through to their successful completion.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in, Human Resources
- Impeccable office etiquette and a professional approach with internal and external partners.
- Excellent writing skills is a must
- 2-3+ years previous HR experience is a must
- Strong verbal communication skills including comfort presenting information to teams and speaking publicly.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Must have expertise in key Microsoft Office programs, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. (Experience with Sharepoint, Yammer, Workday and iCIMS a plus).
- Compensation range 75,000 - 85,000, this is a full time salaried role.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, as well as set targets.
