- Partner with and support department managers with workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Lead employee relations issues and investigations.
- Administer all HR functions including payroll processing and leave administration.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Plan and execute company and employee events, celebrations and service opportunities.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Benefit administration for open enrollment and new hires.
- Act as a business partner and advisor to the Leadership team and General Manager.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develop and administer key HR policies and processes.
- Drive recruiting, partnering with managers to attract, interview, hire, and successfully onboard top-level talent in a competitive marketplace.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve employee engagement, boost morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Spanish a plus.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.
- Self-motivated, driven, eager, energetic, and positive, with a passion for people.
- Exceptional customer service skills and heart for service.
- Ability to lead and influence people and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills with an instinct to take action.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but can be substituted with demonstrated experience.
- HR certificate preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP)
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience, manufacturing environment highly preferred
