Job Description

As an HR Business Partner at Mayday USA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives through effective human resources management. You will act as a consultant and advisor to both employees and management, providing guidance on various HR matters. Your primary responsibility will be to align HR strategies with business goals, foster a positive work environment, and enhance employee engagement and productivity. Additionally, you will handle employee relations, talent management, performance management, and other HR functions to ensure the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic HR guidance.
  2. Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with organizational goals.
  3. Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  4. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  5. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  7. Support the implementation of compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and incentive plans.
  8. Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
  9. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  10. Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws.
  4. Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  6. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  9. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR-related software.
  10. Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
