Hotel Accounting Manager Jobs

Lancaster Full-Service Hotel looking for an Experienced Accounting Manager. Annual Salary $90-$100K

Our ideal Accounting Manager will handle all accounting and supervisory responsibilities of the accounting department.

They will possess:

• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Excellent at prioritizing in a complex environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

They will enjoy working on these ongoing job duties:

• Software implementation if applicable.
• Identifying and developing opportunities to improve.
• Overseeing capital and cash handling.
• Maintaining general ledgers.
• Conducting inventories if applicable.
• Planning and implementing procedures and systems.
• Assisting in tax reviews.
• Budgeting and monitoring cost controls.
• Handling bank reconciliations.
• Preparing financial analysis of operations.
• Preparing reports outlining financial forecasts.
• Assisting in financial statement assembly and reviews.

They will lead by example:

• Oversees the other individuals in the accounting department, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, audit.

They will be able to withstand the physical demands:

• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a desktop for long periods of time.

They will be experienced and possess the following:

• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred).
• Five years or more of related experience (required).
• Previous experience working for a busy full-service hotel (preferred)
