Accounting Manager Jobs

Kane Partners is searching for an Accounting Manager on behalf of a manufacturing company who are looking to add a dynamic, experienced member to their financial team.

The ideal candidate is an energetic and passionate individual who has worked to a high level in the accounting space – with the ability and desire to be a true team-builder. You will need to make sure that your direct reports are working with you as a cohesive unit!

Our client needs someone with demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, always evolving manufacturing environment – with a solid understanding of accounting practices including cost accounting!

· Key member of the corporate Finance team working to support the CFO in the day-to-day general ledger and financial reporting activities within the company

· Prepare accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting of results through weekly situation reports, monthly closing, and reporting processes

· Oversees the A/R and A/P processes, including customer and vendor invoicing

· Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements

· Develop, implement, or enforce organizational policies as assigned and applicable

· Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled in accordance with GAAP

· Develop cost standards for materials, labor, and overheads for costing inventory and customer pricing

· Experienced with SAP software

· Hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired including inventory and cost accounting experience
