Hospitality Manager Jobs

We are looking for a Hospitality Manager responsible for Bakery's Austin, TX office bar and kitchens. The Hospitality Manager runs, serves and maintains the office bar, keeps the bar and kitchen stocked with drinks, snacks and goodies, and works with our Office Manager to orchestrate the company events schedule.

The bar is the focal point of our office's guest services; from behind the counter drinks, food and coffee are served to team members and guests. If selected, you would play an important role for our team and our guests by guiding them through current bar offerings, draft beverage selections and cocktails. It is crucial that our Hospitality Manager is interested in going above and beyond to keep the guests and team members happy, informed and comfortable.

The right candidate has strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent the company, and is willing to tackle tasks both small and large, straightforward and unfamiliar.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the bar's budget
• Greet guests and welcome them to our space
• Manage, maintain and tend the bar, including dispensing draft beverages, mixing cocktails, and serving snacks
• Coordinate office visitors with stakeholders’ schedules
• Take beverage orders directly from team members and guests
• Handle bar maintenance requests and vendors (e.g. handymen, IT).
• Maintain bottles and glassware; arrange in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation.
• Help plan team events such as on-site happy hours and outings
• Establish and manage a small food menu; serve team members and guests items they order hygienically and professionally

Requirements

• Previous bartending and/ or barista experience required
• Passion for serving people, competitive spirit, and motivation to learn and grow
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Great conversation skills and a professional, calm and tactful demeanor
• Problem solver who is eager to help out and doesn’t mind random requests
• Licenses & Certifications Preferred: TABC, Alcohol Awareness, ServSafe-food handling
• A confident and positive people person
• Discretion about private and confidential matters
• A working knowledge of bar related beverages, spirits, mixed and specialty drinks, wine and beer
