The SR. Account Executive, Digital Wholesale.com will support business development and growth of strategic and/or scaled digital relationships; to achieve or exceed sales and profitability objectives; selling to and leading all accounts and prospects as assigned by HEYDUDE; handling sell-thru and performance of HEYDUDE products and running long-term development of the HEYDUDE brand with its retailer partners. This role identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects, and engages new customers, prepares strategic sales presentations, and will be responsible for account management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Identifies areas of underdeveloped business and formulates a strategy to gain increased market share.
- Communicate consistently and efficiently with cross-functional HEYDUDE business units including sales management, customer service, demand planning, finance, merchandising, marketing, and business development
- Maintains updated account and sales records and analyzes and reports selling information to company on weekly basis for key accounts
- Partner with HD.com team to use digital toolkit for sell-in and sell through
- Supervise model stocks and determine accurate pairs and levels of inventory and timing of recommended markdowns; Plans a conversion strategy that enables a profitable transition from one season to the next
- Responsible for end-to-end account management including oversight to: order acquisition through order delivery, HEYDUDE profitability with key accounts, management and resolution of all credit claims, customer compliance issues, returns, etc
- Communicate standard methodologies and expertise with the sales organization
- Identify & supervise new account opportunities to meet growth targets
- Partner with B&M sales team to drive outstanding Omni channel consumer experience
- Maintains a consistent frequency of in-store visitation to ensure execution of brand presence, visual roll-out/events, driving turn and door volume
- Drive top and bottom-line numbers for your assigned territories using strong intuition for business and retail math abilities
- Provide marketplace insights to brand and leadership team (competitor information, consumer understanding, account performance, current/future market penetration, etc.)
- Work as liaison between HEYDUDE operations and account operations
- 35% travel required
- Lead sell-in and sell-through for assigned account in collaboration with marketing and retail activation
- Assist management routinely of problems and opportunities in the region, offers recommended solutions when management is needed
- Lead gross to net revenues and achieve seasonal sales initiatives and category goals
- Accountable for pre-book and at-once sales
- Establish and maintain consistent relationships internally and externally
- Actively participate in account and HEYDUDE meetings including pre-lines, business reviews and sales meetings
- Sells the accurate quantity of assortment product that a customer can profitably retail and a quality composition of product to ensure growth in the territory
- Develop strategic sales plans that incorporate specific account insight and goals to achieve HEYDUDE sales and profitability targets that align with brand and category objectives
- Passionate about strategic alliance partners like: Famous, Journeys, Rack Room, DSG, DSW
- Dropship experience is preferred
- Optimize HEYDUDE product sales by achieving or exceeding sales goals with assigned account base
- Accountable for preparation, planning and delivery of sales line presentations, tied to HEYDUDE seasonal merchandising, sales and marketing initiatives
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- BA or BS degree required
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- 5 years of selling ecommerce
- Frequent travel 35%+, overnights, night and weekend work may be required
- Solid understanding of US retail and wholesale footwear landscape and consumer insights
- 7-10 years of industry sales experience required; 5+ years of footwear experience required
- 5+ years of strategic/key account experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Power Point
- Proficiency in English required
