NexCore Group, a leading real estate development company focused exclusively on development, acquisition, and management of healthcare real estate and senior living communities serving health systems, hospitals, physician groups, residents and their families is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Helpdesk Support

The Helpdesk Support will often be the first contact for technical support for internal users. They will operate as a member of the IT team supporting IT efforts and projects. They will often get direction from other IT members as well as from users. They will be responsible for supporting, setup, using, troubleshooting, fixing, and upgrading software, computers, smartphones, desk phones, conference room technologies, and other duties as assigned. This role must be in person in our Denver, CO office 5 days a week. This role will report to the IT Director and will interface with all users across the organization and work with software and hardware vendors.

Key Responsibilities*

  • Setup and support employee’s technology [PCs, laptops, monitors, keyboards, desk phones, printers, iPhones, iPads, Wi-Fi, connectivity, webcams, etc.]
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Support conference rooms and AV (Audio/Visual gear)
  • Be “remote hands” for working on servers and networking equipment
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, text, and in person
  • Call and work with 3rd party tech support to resolve issues
  • Escalate and coordinate with next level support for any open issues
  • Effectively ask, listen, understand, and act on information from users and supervisors
  • Support users at their desk, over the phone, and remotely

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years user facing role in IT required
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Create and update documentation for common uses, troubleshooting, and fixes
  • Make purchase requests for needed equipment
  • Printers, copiers, and scanners
  • Strong ability to learn new software
  • Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional ability to research to find resolutions to technical problems
  • Windows 10 expertise
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Reinstall Windows 10, drivers, and software
  • IPhones and iPads
  • Support PC and laptop hardware and software

  • Not afraid to dive in and troubleshoot problems not seen before
  • Must have a record of high integrity and strong ethics
  • Superior customer service. Dedication to providing customers “White Glove Service” and a ‘can do’ positive and friendly attitude.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Pass criminal background screening prior to employment
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work cooperatively with coworkers, management, and vendors
  • Ability to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities.
  • Accomplish goals by taking personal responsibility for accomplishing new and different requests; continually explore opportunities to add value

  • Ability to explain technical solutions in layman’s terms.
  • Work well in in professional work environment
  • Critical thinking skills: make assessments and provide solutions to problems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work effectively under desks and tight spaces
  • Must be able to reach above head and use a ladder
  • Able to stand, sit, be on the phone, and look at a computer for long periods of time
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and move 30 lbs.
  • Able to quickly move from room to room in the office to support multiple users at their desks and conference rooms
