eNGINE is hiring a Help Desk Support Technician to support our local team. This individual will be supporting end-user software, hardware and network issues. The ideal applicant will provide both remote and deskside support. The Help Desk Support Technician will also provide Microsoft 365 and Windows support.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
  • Update customer data and produce activity reports
  • Walk customers through problem solving process
  • Recommended procedure modifications or improvements


Skills

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
  • Proven working experience in providing help desk support
  • Customer service orientation
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
