Job Description

Healthcare Technical Business Analyst, W2 ONLY

Philadelphia, PA

Mainly remote, but candidates must come onsite 1-2 times per quarter for meetings. Local candidates from PA, NJ or DE only.

6 months Contract-to-Hire

Max pay= $60/hour W2

  • Maintain and enhance knowledge with federal mandate, company mandates and health insurance transactions and standards (HIPAA x12, HL7, FHIR, etc.).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of technological trends and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
  • Organize and present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between solution architecture, business, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of the business technology solutions.
  • Translate solution blueprint and business requirements to functional and technical requirements.
  • Understand and enhance knowledge of the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment.
  • Provide business and technical detail expertise to delivery teams in support of the project assignment.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of business technical solutions for the required enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with Application Development teams and project teams regarding new systems and systems enhancements as outlined on the Solution Blueprint recommended by Enterprise and/or Solution Architects.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of different technologies, development languages, and proficient with development tools, and IDEs, such as: .NET, Web Services and Web APIs (SOAP, RESTful), Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services, Tableau, Database queries, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC.
  • Worked in an Agile environment.
  • Must have knowledge of health insurance business processes.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA EDI (837I/P/D, 277CA, 270/ 271, 276/ 277, 278, 834, 835).
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
