Healthcare Business Analyst Jobs

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Works with clinical and senior operational staff to develop and maintain performance

measurement processes (dashboard deployment, benchmarking, KPI development, systems

documentation, and reporting).

• Provide clear visualizations and present BI Designs to management and executive-level

stakeholders by developing business cases based on user requirements.

• Interacts frequently with leadership and quality personnel (including ancillary, safety, acute

care, and integrated health services) to facilitate discussions of existing data products while

assessing unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements.

• Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data[1]driven insights and recommendations to leadership.

• Develops key performance indicators (clinical outcomes, cost, length of stay, patient

satisfaction, etc.) by gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing goals or

• Manages complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning, and validating data from

multiple sources in preparation for reporting. 

• Lead process improvement initiatives through disciplined use of measurements, accountability,

analysis, and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices.

• Develop project scoping, project planning, and status reporting deliverables for leadership and

proactively monitor the forward movement of projects.

• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable,

repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.

• Determine current performance, forecast future performance, and build and manage project

plans to track and prioritize action items.

• Routine (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually)

• Identify and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Provide support as required to ensure the availability and optimal performance of developed

reports and dashboards for external and internal users.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with two (2) or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a related field

such as Business, health care, engineering, information systems, or mathematics discipline.

Master's degree preferred.

• Two years of relevant experience in a healthcare organization or a related analytic position.

Certification in quality improvement, business analytics, business intelligence, or data science is

preferred.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various

audiences (including C- level) throughout the organization.

• Prior experience creating reporting and analytics within BI Tools such as Power BI

• Microsoft SQL.

• Ability to effectively summarize data, present insights, and facilitate discussion of results.

• Demonstrated proficiency with statistics and statistical analysis for decision-making.

• Financial reporting and analysis of Healthcare & Health-related

• Experienced in the development and management of meaningful business metrics.

• Mastery desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Fast learner with great attention to detail and passionate about data, data quality & business

analytics.

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, utilizing data to tell a story.

• Initiative to work independently (self-direction) and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for
