The Role

The Head of Sales will drive and coach an ambitious sales team for future success in support of generating net new business opportunities with and market growth mentality. This high potential leader will help define the sales process from prospect to closed wins through a team-oriented approach. The Head of Sales is a hands-on leader who is interested in helping others succeed as part of our mission to work better together as a global company. To connect the global team so that everyone wins, we're looking for an inspiring and motivated sales leader to be expand our customer base, be a liaison between multiple departments and scale our U.S. based sales team to the next level of growth!

What you will be doing

  • Partner with Sales Operations Manager to accurately and consistently track sales activities and processes within Salesforce
  • Direct training, share sales trends and learning programs to develop sales team that will grow as the company grows
  • Create responsibility within department by developing appropriate performance expectations that deliver a growth mindset for all team members
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan to address market size, territory and account-level analysis to support the company mission and ensure a strong presence
  • Coach and incentivize sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
  • Meet with key prospects, serve as a leadership sponsor, assist sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiate and closing deals
  • Take initiative with anything that comes your way
  • Maintain a customer-first focused organization
  • Collaborate as a team player with marketing to define customer segmentation, maximize speed to lead and execute market penetration strategy
  • Build and scale the sales achievements and targets of a world-class selling team based in the U.S. office
  • Be a trustworthy and ethical professional throughout the organization

What we need to see from you

  • 3+ years B2B sales mentorship and/or coaching experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Unwavering trustworthiness, openness, and conscientiousness

What we would love to see from you

  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce – desired) and MS Office applications
  • Experience delivering an engaging sales training program
  • Experience in Technology, Software Sales and SaaS
  • Strategic collaborator and listener with the ability to anticipate business needs
  • Excellent networking, management sponsorship, organization and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, operate effectively in a growth-mindset environment and motivate new and existing sales team for future success
  • Genuine interest and commitment to a bootstrap start- up environment
  • 5+ years of consistently achieving revenue quotas
  • High aptitude for negotiation
  • Strong business acumen and composure
