FUNCTION LEADER, FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT (Hybrid)
Reports to President
Location:STRONGLY prefer candidates within a commutable distance of the Dallas/Fort Worth area or may consider remote candidates within a commutable distance.(May alternatively consider candidates in Southern Orange or LA Counties, CA. Open to relocating an outstanding candidate to Dallas Area)
Travel may be up to 20%/80% Office
FLSA Status:Exempt
Estimated Base Salary Range:$160K - $185K plus 15%+ bonus potential (Client may flex on base for truly outstanding candidates)
POSITION OVERVIEW
TheFunction Leader for Developmentis responsible for formulating and aligning the Franchise Sales & Development Strategy with the Company Strategy, working together with the other functions and with strategic partners to ensure delivery of the Functional Strategy and Plan, and managing the Development Functional Team and its activities, which include but not limited to internal system franchise sales, market development planning, contract management, real estate, store design, and construction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
·Develop theCompany’s brands, developnew and existing markets, opennew stores, ensure high-qualityreal estate selections, and ensurelegal and internal compliance;
·Establishstrategic plans for market development, new market entry, acquisition of stores, and international business development through working with Planning, Finance, and franchise sales & development consulting group;
·Work withfranchise sales & developmentconsulting group and Planning to proactively identify opportunities and initiatives to strengthen, improve and drive new market entries and grow existing markets;
·Presentstrategies and plans, including financial analyses and business opportunities, to the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team and other relevant stakeholders;
·Formulateannual functional budgetforecasts andperformance managefunctional expenses against the budget;
·Work with a third-partyreal estate analyticscompany to provide key business insights to drive market and area development strategies;
·Collaborate with Operations function onsupporting franchiseeson Real Estate and Design & Construction matters;
·Manage consulting groupto ensure:
odue diligence and analysis of all proformas and business plans submitted as part of packages fornew franchiseesandmarket entry opportunities;
otheprojectplans are updated,monthly reportsare prepared, and monthlybusiness meetingsare held in a timely manner in line with the agreed cadence;
·Reviews and monitorsfranchise disclosure agreement, fee adjustments, and/or modifications to license agreements and makes recommendations to XT;
·Manage and drive theDevelopment Function teamto achieve high-quality performance with regard to internal system franchise sales, market development planning, contract management, real estate, store design, and construction.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS)
·Bachelor’s degree required in Business or related discipline; MBA desirable
·Minimum 5+ years at business director role or above
·Minimum 5+ years’ experience in-store franchising business a must
