As the Lead Designer at Build Together, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and products. You will lead the development of BT’s branding, collaborate in product development, and work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling design solutions that resonate with our target audience. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, communication and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership: Establish creative direction and help lead a team of designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in design.

2. Product Design: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and deliver user-centered and visually appealing digital products within the sustainable technology and ESG space.

3. User Experience (UX) Design: Drive the creation of intuitive and delightful user experiences through user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.

4. Visual Curation: Produce high-quality visual assets, including graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content, for marketing campaigns, social media, and the company website, aligning with our mission and values.

5. Brand Development: Expand upon and maintain our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, from marketing materials to product design.

6. Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices, particularly those related to sustainable design, and integrate these insights into our design processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor's degree or in progress of completing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience (1+ years) in design roles either in a corporate or startup environment

- A clear and demonstrated ability to lead

- Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies, with a passion and focus on sustainability and social responsibility.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.

- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work that demonstrates creativity, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of design principles

Preferred:

- Experience is within the sustainability or ESG sector.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, adapting to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

- Experience with prototyping and animation tools is a plus.
