Over 9,500 employees working in 30 countries around the world are dedicated to servicing investment solutions for our clients in more than 155 countries. For more than 75 years our success has been a direct result of the talent, skills and persistence of our people, and we are looking for qualified candidates to join our team.
What is the Corporate Real Estate and Facilities group responsible for?

We keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and enable collaboration and innovation by supporting on-site services and a dynamic work environment. We build strong internal and external relationships essential to supporting the success of our operations.
What is the Guest Experience Manager responsible for?
The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for coordinating the firm’s various resources supporting client visits and employee use of conference rooms and similar facilities. The person is also responsible for assisting Administrative Assistants of senior executives whose Admin Assistants are assigned to other FT office locations, when their executives host guests on-site in New York.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Guest Experience Manager?

  • Responsible for supporting visiting senior executives in navigating office functions efficiently and professionally.
  • Indirectly responsible for ensuring that catering is in place pre-meeting, required technology is operational, appropriate stationery and office supplies are readily available, security clearance is seamless, guests are greeted and directed professionally, and post-meeting clean-up is arranged – including removal of abandoned materials, whiteboard notes, etc. Other internal resources (Admins, receptionists, tech support, facilities, events, etc.) will continue to provide these services directly, but this manager will be charged with training and coordinating those resources as necessary, as well as appropriately educating users in need of assistance.
  • Responsible for the coordination of client visits on-site which can include working with Admin Assistants of senior leaders based in other locations.
  • Responsible for welcoming guests and facilitating support of larger (and Board-type) events and optimizing scheduling resources on site.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 7+ years of experience delivering world class concierge type services to guests and visiting executives, including coordinating resources including administrative assistants, receptionists, tech support, facilities, events staff, vendors, etc.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Customer service/hospitality orientation
  • Familiarity with vendor management
  • Ability to interact professionally with executives, their administrative staff and visiting clients
  • Ability to make good decisions/problem solve when logistical issues arise or unusual business needs requiring ad hoc solutions
