Graphic Designer (Work At Home - Ohio)

Location: Remote (Ohio residents), occasional business travel

Are you an experienced graphic designer looking to take your creative passion to the next level?

Bring creative vision to life as part of Morley’s award-winning in-house Creative team. We translate business goals into innovative and meaningful brand experiences.

You will be the all-important “last touch” for the creative visual services our team provides for digital, interactive, social and viral deliverables. With a commanding understanding of color theory, composition and layout principles, you’ll turn concepts into inspired storytelling, produce engaging and memorable designs, and deliver performance-driven solutions that resonate, motivate and grow our brand and the brands of our Fortune 500 clients.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and complete artwork for print and digital media, ensuring that work goes out the door error-free and ready to impress internal and client audiences
• Proposals and presentations
• Package and prepare files for release to printers
• Improve processes as new and streamlined tactics become apparent
• Traditional printed marketing materials
• Understand and serve client business needs, both working independently and in collaboration with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Creative Production Coordinators and cross-departmental teams
• Prioritize work to accommodate tight timelines required by clients in both Eastern and Pacific time zones
• Manage multiple projects at once while meeting all deadlines
• Large-format graphics
• Keep up to date with trends across culture, design, technology, e-commerce, social media, graphic design, photography and video
• Maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos and other artwork
• Work hands-on to create high-quality, compelling designs for:
• Multimedia pieces
• Web and mobile apps
• Propose new ideas
• Interactive documents
• Ensure brand consistency while offering fresh design approaches to creative deliverables
• Provide image retouching and manipulation
• Share insights with the team

Skills For Success

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD)
• Proven ability to adapt design styles and apply branded style guides with consistency
• Demonstrated expertise in graphic design, typography, color theory and layout
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, especially PowerPoint
• A positive, self-starter attitude with a desire to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment
• Excellent visual communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and creative process workflows
• Able to execute the design of creative concepts and ensure sound pre-press production
• Exceptional typography skills

Eligibility Requirements

• Five years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environment
• An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates your passion for great design, stylistic breadth, attention to detail and intuitive usability through thoughtful, beautiful and strategic creative solutions
• Able to travel occasionally for business (includes potential site visits and client events; up to five times a year, but typically less)
• BA in Graphic Design or related degree/education

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of web builders
• 3D and animation
• Motion design skills
