Job Description

Responsible, under supervision and guidance, for creating, designing, and producing basic on-brief marketing materials that are aligned with the Jack in the Box brand to support in-store, internal, and regional marketing efforts.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assists in the management of creative process from start to finish including the design of initial concepts, presentations, revisions and final production. Develops an understanding of the brand style guide and can express the brand language while still adhering to the overall brand look and feel.
  • Simultaneously manages the design of multiple marketing material projects and interprets creative briefs to identify messaging priorities. Delivers press-ready files in accordance to vendor specifications.


  • Assists with photo shoot prep associated with individual projects including creative concepts and obtaining approvals prior to shooting. Assists with managing color correction prior to final approval of photo shoot.


  • Prepares electronic design files for output by appropriate vendor resources; effectively maintains file archives to ensure ease of retrieval for future use. Initiates service requests and technical support as needed.


  • Participates in group creative reviews and provides constructive feedback pertaining to fellow designers’ work.


  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Art, Graphic Design, or related field.


Experience - 2+ years of graphic design experience; minimum 3 years Macintosh design experience. Link to design portfolio required for consideration.


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities – Previous POP experience a plus. Proficient in the use of Macintosh design environments. Comprehensive skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required. Excellent oral and written English communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.


Physical Requirements - Ability to operate a computer, i.e., desktop, laptop, tablet, etc. Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to work efficiently in open environment. Ability to travel within the facility.


The range for this position is $52,100 - $72,900 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
