Geospatial IT Systems Technician (ArcGIS Enterprise\Server)

Innovate! Inc. is actively searching for a proactive and highly motivated individual with a strong drive for innovation. We are seeking a Geospatial IT Systems Technician who can thrive in a dynamic work environment and handle occasional demanding schedules. As a self-directed and well-organized professional, you will utilize your expertise with the ArcGIS suite to work alongside a core team. There is also potential for you to lead both large and small GIS projects for our diverse client base. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of geospatial applications throughout the concept, design, and implementation phases. Additionally, you will support other team members in utilizing GIS applications and software, collaborate with clients and teaming partners, and provide assistance with ArcGIS Enterprise deployments. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team player that exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
• Excellent communication skills, time-management, decision-making, and basic task

organizational skills are mandatory.

• Provides estimates to staff on technical tasks and efforts required to implement.
• Writes project architecture documents, including models and data flow diagrams.
• Creates operational documentation.
• Provide estimates to the development staff on technical tasks and efforts required to complete assignments.
• Conduct operational\administrative efforts required to build and operate an enterprise-grade
• Coordinates all phases of the Software Design Life Cycle process.
• Configure, optimize, publish, and Administer Map, Image, and Geoprocessing Services
• Create architecture models and diagrams to properly describe the requirements of the server applications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field preferred,

equivalent experience is acceptable.

• • 5+ years of experience deploying and troubleshooting Esri’s ArcGIS Enterprise Portal\Server software, including 5 years of experience working with versions of the software released within the past 8 years.
