General Ledger Accountant Jobs

Vaco is working with an industry leading client in the Southwestern Pittsburgh suburbs that is looking for a General Ledger Accountant. We need someone who is very proficient in Excel, specifically with creating or editing long nested formulas and also being strong with V Lookups, Pivot Tables, AUTOSUM, Index, and Match functions and formulas. In addition to general ledger accounting duties like journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, month end close involvement, this position will be heavily involved with variance analysis projects and reporting. We need someone that can really dig into the numbers and figure out why there is variance between budget versus actual, and work with General Managers to try and figure out why.

So to recap, we need an accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience that is proficient with Excel, well versed in GL accounting, and has a knack for performing in depth variance analysis. This hybrid position will pay up to 80k and you will be working with a very down to earth team that enjoys collaborating to get project completed effectively and efficiently.
