Overview of Responsibilities:

This role will be hands on in both USA and Canada accounting (including daily transactions and monthly/annual close). This person will perform various accounting functions including but not limited to daily activity, monthly journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and reporting. They will provide accurate and timely financials, analysis to management, and budgeting support. They will interface with all levels of management and employees corporate-wide. Additional responsibilities could include job costing, processing and advising on inventory transactions, banking transactions and fixed asset management.

Key Job Elements:

• Perform daily and/or monthly banking responsibilities
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Other duties as assigned
• Work with local and global finance personnel to continually improve processes
• Prepare monthly close entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement account fluctuation analysis
• Support the team in day-to-day, monthly, and year end accounting operations
• Process inventory journals and track demo inventory transactions
• Record capital expenses and prepares capital spending analysis
• Prepare various reports and analysis for external auditors and management

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Well organized, detail-oriented and has a passion for numbers
• Possesses a high degree of integrity
