THIS POSITION IS RESERVED FOR GRADUATING SENIORS OF THE HACK REACTOR GALVANIZE PROGRAM, WITH OR WITHOUT PYTHON EXPERIENCE

Specific job responsibilities may differ from resident to resident, but below are some of the most common:

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group technical and project management guidance and support to students
  • Share observations on student progress with the Cohort Leads and Technical Mentors
  • Conduct whiteboarding and mock interview practice with students
  • Contribute to campus operational needs and projects
  • Conduct code reviews on students’ project work
  • Facilitate social events with students

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities

  • On target for successful completion of Hack Reactor by Galvanize SJP program (candidate’s may apply to the SEIR program while they are actively enrolled in the senior phase of the program)

  • This is a home-based position

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate this position will pay $24 per hour. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
