3D Modeller Jobs

Cantu Design is a multidisciplinary studio based in Seattle, USA and Den Haag, the Netherlands specialising in marine and yacht design. We are currently seeking contract 3D modeller to join our team on a part-time / full-time basis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Someone with a strong understanding of how to model boats and ships based on CAD drawings and verbal description.
• Has the ability to pay attention to fine details and take direction to create 3D models both for visualization and production.
• Can demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and graphical communication.
• Rendering experience is a bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with a team of designers and engineers, communicate with clients and shipyards, and create 3D models and 2D production drawings to support large, long-term projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Drafting experience creating detail drawings for manufacturing and use in production settings.
• Marine and yacht design experience required.
• Highly experienced in 3D Modelling.
• Pay dependent on experience.
• Proficient in creative problem solving, interpretation of technical drawings or specifications, and practical decision-making.
