Full Time Residential Aide – Point Pleasant, WV

Job Responsibilities:

• Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe inpatient/outpatient setting.
• Follows nurse (RN) instructions to perform procedures
• Follows Physician Instructions to perform procedures
• Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information.
• Participates in all training and continuing education. Maintains licensure to meet federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living by serving meals and feeding patients as needed/directed; offering fresh water and snacks;

Qualifications:

• Integrity — Job requires being honest and ethical.
• Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
• 2 years’ experience in addiction is preferred, otherwise additional training may be required prior to start date.
• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to actively look for ways to help people.
• Self-Control — Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
• Social Orientation — Job requires preferring to work with others rather than alone, and being personally connected with others on the job.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or higher
• Concern for others — Job requires being sensitive to others' needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
