Job Title: Front Desk Manager
Job Status: Year Round Full Time
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,384.62 to $2,563.46+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:
As a true Team Player working collaboratively with Lodging Leadership this position will be responsible for all aspects of Copper's Front Desk. These include financial accountability, hiring, development and performance evaluations of management staff, including the creation or adherence of operational and lodging best practices, team building, etc. As a member of the Lodging Leadership team, he/she will be happy to jump on line in any facility as they would towards any other job responsibility. The Front Desk Manager keeps a broad eye not only of the greater lodging division but how we fit into Copper overall.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Along with their direct reports, the creation and review of annual business plans, budgets, capital maintenance and expansion opportunities, monthly financial review and variance reports. Ensuring adherence to budgets, COS, labor and expenses within the department. Oversight of all human resource practices. Ensures recruiting strategies are maintained. Hiring, development and coaching of staff. Responsible for employee action plans, goals and objectives. Works with Director of Lodging on new initiatives to promote Copper Lodging. In conjunction with the lodging leadership team, attends and help to plan for various meetings or functions, including weekly operational, QPM, staff events, copper management meetings, trainings, etc. Facilitation of regular team meetings and one on one's with direct reports. Works to supplement new hire training to ensure that all staff are trained in all lodging best practices. Ensures compliance with corporate directives including sponsorship guidelines, operational reviews etc. Works to improve and design plans where asked. Works with Director of Lodging to create and execute on sales and marketing strategies. Creates and maintains vendor relationship management and facilitation. As manager of a 24 hour operation, he/she will be willing and able to respond to calls outside of business hours and on days off. A willingness to become "the expert" in all systems the department uses, including but not limited to: Visual One, RTP, Timesaver, Adaptive Insights, and Inntopia.

- All Leadership team members are expected to participate in the company's Front Line Assist program to assist in operations as needed, as well as to participate in Leadership events such as meetings, required trainings, and participating in employee dinners/events
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises or has oversight over the Front Desk, including Agents, Foremen, Supervisors, Assistant Manager, Bell Staff, Bell Captain and Night Auditors.

Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Must have a valid US driver's license (Due to oversight of Bell Team)
Preferred Experience and Special Skills:
A minimum of 5 years in resort lodging, revenue maximization or call center management role preferred. Progressive experience in financial controls and absolutely must be coupled with solid examples of team building.
