Freelance Graphic Designer Jobs

We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a passion for design that contributes to the creation of compelling digital graphics and experiences.

You will work on an account that is one of the most influential commerce and music hubs in the world.

Talent must be West Coast based and able to be hybrid 3 days a week in the Long Beach office.

Salary Rate for this role is $35 - $40/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure consistency and coherence in design by following established brand guidelines and design systems.
• Require skills in resizing and versioning.
• The role is expected to be hands-on and requires organization, diligence and creativity.
• Manage clean working files for seamless collaboration between internal creative team and resources.
• Adhere to quick-turn deadlines and ensure tasks are being completed fully and on time.
• Bring ideas and strategic thinking to creative execution to drive results.
• Collaborate with production studio by providing designs, layouts and storyboards and art direction for stills and motion graphics and video creation.
• Development and execution of on-brand creative concepts for digital visuals to be used in online advertising, digital marketing campaigns,(app-graphics, emails, websites, webpages, banners, static/video content, and more).
• Apply design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design practices to create cohesive and user-friendly interfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Eagerness to learn
• Hands-on experience with Figma, contributing to collaborative design processes, effective team communication, and UI design
• Knowledge of online marketing, visual design, usability, accessibility, interaction design, brand principals, and the creative process
• Motion graphics a huge plus but not required
• You have a passion for design, creativity and technology
• Quick to adapt through proactive problem solving, work with a sense of urgency
• Core strength is in digital, graphic design and communications
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design or equivalent experience
• Recent graduates with a very strong portfolio are welcome.
• 2-3 years’ experience within Design, Advertising, Marketing, Content Development, Branding Agency or equivalent experience (Preferred)
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite
• A deep attention to detail and a dedication to proper delivery
• An excellent sensibility for photography, illustration, and typography
