Freelance Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

Overview:

We are looking for a talented mid-level Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. Our dynamic team produces designs that are audience-led, innovative, measurable, and on-brand, and ultimately lead to a memorable experience for the end user.

In this role, you will be focused on working on visual designs for various marketing channels under the guidance of the Art director. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and optimistic individual who is passionate about graphic design and able to transform creative concepts into thoughtful design work that tells our product story to our audiences.

Duration: 2-3 Months (up-to 20 hours/week)

Hourly Rate: $50-$60/hour *Commensurate with Experience

Please Note: While this role is fully remote, it will require working within a PST timezone expectation. Candidates residing in PST and MST time zones will be strongly preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Understand project goals and adhere to deadlines.
• Design graphic assets across all channels (social media, blog, email and website creative)
• Design short product animations to showcase features. Execute multiple creative concepts and design solutions under the guidance of the Art Director to translate business needs into innovative solutions.
• Maintain brand consistency and quality across all media.
• Explore trends in social media graphics, design unique and engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin
• Support marketing team in post production, and willing to adapt to different project needs.

Qualifications

• Interest in B2B SaaS space
• 3-5 years of experience
• Good organizational skills, detail-oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that quality deliverables are achieved on time.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Knowledgeable in design trends, translating copy ideas into visual design, and able to generate different types of creative solutions like gif animations, illustrations, or narrative stories.
• Expert knowledge of design, typography, photography, layout principles, and production process.
• A graphic design portfolio (motion design is a huge plus)

Candidates should keep in mind that the final offer will depend on multiple factors such as: your valuable experience and expertise, geographic location, overall compensation, and prevailing market rates.
