Summary

We’re looking for a Freelance Designer to join our Creative team! Reporting to the Executive Director, Design, this person will have the opportunity to work across clients and brands to provide their design expertise. You will work on projects spanning digital, social, print, and video so you should be familiar with those design principles. Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to meet design objectives and project timelines
• Collaborate with the creative team on a regular basis
• Perform additional creative tasks as needed
• Inspire new ways of thinking to approach design challenges
• Interact with Copywriters to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned projects
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the Design Intern as needed

Requirements

• Portfolio showing strong knowledge of design elements and principals
• Understanding of production design
• Good understanding of Adobe Suite, Typography, page composition and grid structures
• Ability to think across all media channels (Social, Digital, Motion, Print)
• 2-4 years of design experience
• A sharp eye for details - you keep track of versioning, image and copy changes, and formatting for production
• Retouching experience is a huge plus!
